Healthy Hair, The advice of a Wookie for hair

Shampoo: 1 beaten egg + 2 scoops of neutral washing gel (for instance Hipp Gel lavant: https://www.migros.ch/fr/product/513245000000). Leave for a minute and then rinse with cold / warm water to avoid cooking the egg. The egg is optional.

If you suffer from dandruff, use Rhassoul solid shampoo instead. Leave on for a few minutes before rinsing. For example: https://naturmel.ch/shampoings/466-499-shampoing-solide-au-rhassoul.html#/19-taille-30gr

For curly hair, use a solid shampoo with broccoli oil. For example: https://www.comme-avant.bio/pages/shampoing-solide-a-lhuile-de-noisette-enrichi-en-huile-de-brocoli-et-poudre-de-jujubier

Conditioner: Into a pan, pour 1 jar of cider vinegar + 3 jars of black tea + 5 teaspoons of guar gum + optional: 5 drops of essential oils (chamomile, lavender, …). Mix it all. Put in pots.

Apply conditioner after shampooing, leave on for a few minutes before rinsing off with cold / warm water.

Keep the conditioner in the fridge and especially tell your guests not to use it: my father-in-law thought it was jam … Yuck!

If hair is dry, for a moisturizing hair mask, mix a beaten egg with a large tablespoon of honey and a large tablespoon of coconut oil or olive oil. Egg and honey are optional. Leave for at least 5 minutes then rinse with cold/warm water (to avoid cooking the egg). There is no need for a shampoo before the mask, but you can use the vinegar lotion afterwards.

If you want wavy hair, dry with a towel and then a bamboo or microfiber turban. Braid wet hair, then blow-dry or air-dry.

You can use shea butter as a styling gel or wax. For stronger hold, choose a sugar-based styling wax that contains no artificial products. For example, Sapiens: https://www.swissecoshop.ch/fr/cheveux-homme-bio/9271-cire-coiffante-bio-a-base-de-sucre-fixation-forte-effet-mate-60ml-sapiens.html

Do a henna once every 2 to 3 months. For my personal recipe for henna, click here: https://www.aurianneor.org/my-personal-henna-recipe-if-your-hair-is-tinted/

You can also use already-made henna that cover white hair. For example: https://www.aroma-zone.com/info/fiche-technique/coloration-vegetale-henne-blond-dore-bio

Use wooden utensils: brushes, combs.

After combing, apply Argan oil to the ends.
