Politicians, please! Do not make the same mistake as Kamala Harris and the others left-wing leader: campaigning just on the fact that Trump, Putin and far-right politicians are worst. If the left-wing leaders do that again, they will lose the elections like the others.

However, politicians should still challenge far-right leaders and assert humanitarians values, as they do now and this is brave. Politicians from the world with humanist values should unite.

Citizens want a vision, something that will improve their life.

Left-wing politicians should focus on helping the poorest who are living in the streets redistributing money through a basic income for instance. In 2023, the province of Quebec introduced a universal basic income of $1309 per month. A good idea to be generalized in the other provinces!

Left-wing politicians should redistribute wealth and limit the prices of food and housing. Indeed, without rent controls, companies are less competitive when it comes to paying very high salaries to compensate, and as soon as an employee loses his job, he loses his accommodation because the rent is exorbitant. This often leads to a downward spiral towards social destitution.

Left-wing politicians are uniting themselves through coalition of the willing, and that is a good thing, but it is not enough to fight far-right politicians.

Left-wing politicians must act for all the citizens, improve their lives and enforce the humanist values they say they stand for. They must be envied!
